The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern
Wouldn’t be me if I didn’t start this by wanting to create a victorian inspired book outfit that there are no offical images of. Gotta go hard right out of the gate. Technically I did do Undertaker before Poppet, but sadly there are no good surviving images, so this is where we begin, with a book, a circus, and a dream.
I got one of my friends to be a Murray twin with me, and we had a wonderful time running around con together. Poppet was fully realised by me, and while it is not at all historically accurate, I loved researching for parts and things to make it feel perfect. The Night Circus (Erin Morgenstern) is one of my favourite books, and I’m so glad I could bring part of it to life. She’s on the one day redo list for sure.
