The Dragon Prince
The Dragon Prince was an instant hit with me the moment I saw it. General Amaya in particular had me hooked. Strong, capable, takes no nonsense female knight? I had no hope. I love how the show handled her deafness, it was so well done, she’s a brilliant character in so many ways. Unfortunately, this was a build full of flaws, and I learned more about what I don’t like doing than what I do, but I still learned, which is what counts.
I hadn’t really done many big armour builds before, so this was a doozy to start with. I decided I wanted to use worbla as I was more comfortable with it, which was definitely a mistake. Everything was so heavy and inflexible, just not a good time to wear. Was also my first foray into 3D modelling and printing, and the sword really needed some work but honestly could have been much worse. I still love her, but maybe I’d go for a more casual outfit next time.
